Factory workers in Sheffield recently turned their hands to gardening, revamping an overgrown island at a National Trust park.
Some 19 staff from the Cadbury factory in Owlerton transformed the landscape at Clumber Park by clearing away overgrowth as part of an eco-conscious team building challenge, the Sheffield Star reported.
One of the participants, Andrew Forbes from Cadbury told the regional newspaper: "This kind of challenge isn't just about supporting the local community, it's also about us getting out of the office and working together as a team towards a common goal.
"We all had a fantastic day with the National Trust and look forward to seeing them again next year."
Green team activities are becoming increasingly popular among UK businesses to boost employee relationships and raise awareness of environmental issues within the British workforce.
Companies can not only reduce energy and water consumption but also compost food waste on-site for greener credentials.
